3 years old!

For your third birthday we had a frozen movie theme party. Grammy made and Elsa doll cake and a rectangular cake with Elsa and Anna on it! We had tons of friends over and served little Caesars pizza and salad. You also got to swim and play in the water at your party. We decorated with lots of frozen themed decor and a tulle frozen pretend castle and lots of turquoise and purple colors. Mommy and daddy got you a trampoline and you love it and use it almost every day.

You are just getting cuter and smarter every day and we are enjoying you so much. As if we didn't think you could be any cuter you always seem to somehow. The things you are saying are just killing us and I still love to kiss those sweet sweet cheeks over and over!😘😘😘I tell you at night that I want to kiss you all night and you want me to as well, but then we say that that would be silly because neither of us would get to sleep. You are saying some adorable things and getting smarter every day as well. You say a lot "I PROBABLY......." Using the word probably a lot! So cute. We have been going to storytime at the library often and you are loving learning and singing the songs there and you like to practice singing the seven days of the week song at home. Oh! You absolutely love love love to read! When you are not playing I mostly find you in your room on the couch or pretty much anywhere reading a book to yourself or sometimes to your baby. Sometimes you tell what you can remember of the story or you will just babble on and on about anything pertaining to read your book and it is so! You really don't play nearly as much as you like to read. And you are always asking mommy to read to you and we just could read together all day and you would be happy as a clam! You and Oden have really started to play together well and it is so fun watching you guys interact together and play. When you go down for naps and at bedtime you always want me to just lay with you and you say that over and over. It is so sweet and mommy wishes she could lay with you forever and ever but alas I have to always go and sometimes you will finally let me. I know I will look back at these days and wish that I would have laid with you forever and ever. So some nights I do try to lay with you for a while because it is just so special and I know it is fleeting! 

Just over a week ago we started trying to do some potty training by having you go naked on bottom all around the house. That seemed to really work and make everything click for you. A week and a half later you have only had a few accidents and are peeing in the big potty most of the time and you have food in it several times as well! You have done so well and we are so very very proud of you. I keep telling you that, but I just hope you know inside that I truly mean it, that I am so proud of you for getting this big milestone underway. 

Another thing that you say a lot that is so cute is when we ask you a question if you did something, you say "I did!" It is always very matter of fact sounding. We just started you in dance class for the school semester and you are already loving it. You seem to really like dance class and still teach us dance class at home and you always wear your leotard and tutu and especially your shoes all over the house all the time.

Your cuteness is overwhelming. I seem to say that at every stage you go through. But it's so true. Right now you are really into your friends and cousins. You ask to be in Georgie's class a lot, and always wonder if we are doing things with your "cousins." It's really a blessing how you are getting to grow up with them. Some of your favorite foods are of course dessert, asparagus, pbj, cucumber, salmon, most veggies with "dip dip" i.e. Ranch, and cereal and eggs and occasional pancakes for breakfast. Daddy takes you to breakfast at least once a week. Usually to the egg and I😋You say "I probably ........" A lot. Too cute. You talk really well and can almost count perfectly to 20! Now we are starting to work with you on recognizing your letters and numbers. You love to jump on the trampoline. You are so so loving (most of the time) to Odin. You say all the time to all of us and him "I love you brother, Odin". You are getting some adorable little freckles on your nose and upper cheeks. Man you are getting more and more beautiful by the day. Sometimes I just can't stop looking at your pretty face.  Your smile is cute, you crinkle your nose. You finally have enough hair for ponies and you like one on top and two on the sides. Your have started to do a very silly "fake" hard belly laugh and it's so funny. We just got your ears pierced, and although it was traumatic you did great and you love your sparkly flower studs. You also love to paint your toes and nails and you like the same colors that mommy has on. You love to do crafts and we just did a pumpkin paper plate craft for halloween that you LOVED. You are getting awesome on your strider bike, and you are adorable when you "play dance class" and "do exercise." You pretend to do Insanity workouts like mom. You LOVE your dance class still, and the morning of you put your outfit on hours before class time. You often wear your Leo around the house just bc you love it. And your wear your ballet shoes all the time too😄You are doing awesome on your strider bike, and love to go ride the "pump track." We love every single moment with you, even your melt down moments. And I should add you still sleep awesome, and still take a great nap. I love you, my treasure. Please stop growing.💕💕💕

To die for

There are so very many things I love about you right now that I could probably write forever and ever. You are so so sweet and loving and you are just adorable with all your new phrases and questions that you ask. You are very good at remembering things and are so smart. We are working on counting to 12 right now and you like to practice at night when we are laying together in your bed. One of my favorite things you say it right now is "I'm being very foful mommy" which is "careful." So cute! And "fopsido!" Ie: Popsicle! 

This week you had a bit of a virus that really worried us because you had taken a bad spill off of Grammys porch steps but we took you to the doctor today and we think you are going to be fine and you seems to be feeling much better! Tonight we went downtown with Danielle and her kids to eat dinner and on our drive home we were passing a car dealership and you said "look mom there's a Tahoe!!" I guess you remember that daddy and I have been talking about buying a Tahoe for a long time…! It was too cute and hilarious!

You love to practice your dance class at home and you do just exactly what your teacher does in class. You like to have mommy and daddy be the students and you tell us what to do point our toes and flex them. you asked me to turn music on and want me to put real music on my phone to dance to! And sometimes you say you need to "change the song."

If I have not mentioned it before, you have come leaps and bounds in your dance class! It took you over two months to be comfortable to dance but you started to do all the moves and you really Excrl at them now. You really are one of the rock stars in your dance class! And you have a great pointed toe both of your feet point very beautifully and it is so cute. 

You love to swing in your swing in the backyard and you just love to play outside. You have been very cute with your brother and are being a very good big sister helping him and playing with him💙 your hair is definitely getting longer and we can get two little piggy tails on the top of your head now and they are very cute. We just got the burly out to start using this summer and you are loving going bike riding. You also are starting to be more interested in your strider bike and are really getting the hang of how to use it! 

You are a very good eater and will at least try almost everything but unfortunately you are already starting to ask for dessert all the time! I'm just not sure where you got that from😉😉 You really like mango and we have been eating a lot of it lately! 

You love to run errands and go to "Wal-marp." Not Mart😄😉 

Lately you and Odin have been going to the gym with mommy and you are really having a good time playing there! That makes me very happy and excited! The other day I walked in the house from being gone and Grammy was watching you, you ran up to me and said "mommy I love you so so so much!!" You actually do that often and it is so sweet. You are so loving and sweet. I started telling you that "I love you so much it hurts" and now you say that to me and it is so stinking adorable. I wish I could freeze time on this age and keep you here forever, but I know you will be getting even cuter. I love you so so much my love, it hurts💕💕❤️😄!

Cuteness overload

You my love, are killing your dad and I  your cuteness. We constantly tell each other how cute you are and tell you how cute you are because you simply are so adorable right now. You have always been cute but it is so much fun watching you learn and say new words and phrases. You still say "please "instead of yes but you are starting to say yeah a little bit more. Right now you love to say "darn it "and and you also are saying "I'll be right back "and pointing your finger as you say it. You love to go to run errands, and especially Love to go to the mall and to "wall murt". We started you in dance class and at first you were just very observant and watched all of the girls dance and we stuck with it and we are so glad because you have blossomed into a beautiful little dancer. You do everything in class now and seem to really enjoy it. You run into the room without mom even having to tell you and you love to do the frog jumps! You love to ride on your dads shoulders and he loves to take you to breakfast still. You also love to creep up on your brother and tickle him and he always cracks up at you. We started reading books at night in our bed and you love to do that and cuddle with us in our bed! After we switched Odin to his room and had to let him cry a little in the night you would wake up sometimes because we saw you on the monitor, but you still never cried out or made any noise and would always go back to sleep. You are still are great little night sleeper and for that we are very thankful! You are having fun making new friends and playing in nurseries at church and at mops and you love to go to Grammies and hang out. You also are having fun helping mom make dinner! You always ask to help. It's so sweet. I love to hear you say "thank you mommy quote and you are so sweet and are learning to apologize when you know you do something wrong😌 I love your cute little legs and you are still so petite and your hair is starting to grow in but it is still not long enough to do much of anything although you do let me put it into pigtails which look very cute. You love to wear dresses and until it got super cold we pretty much couldn't convince you otherwise. You love to wear your Nike's which you call your "running shoes quote and I'm still not sure where you picked up on that, it's very cute. You love to play ring around the Rosie and there was a week where mom and dad probably saying and played it with you 20 times every single night and more during the day. You love to practice your dance class moves at home. For breakfast every morning you always ask to have a "shake. " that's because mom always drinks her protein shake in the morning and you want to be just like mommy. So I started making you a smoothie shakes for breakfast and you drink that for at least a month or more but are starting to get tired of them now I think! We just bought you the movie frozen which is a Disney movie and you are somewhat beginning to be interested in watching movies, you do really like to watch the baby Einstein videos. 

The cutest thing

You have started singing, and you say some of the words to the songs mommy sings you for your nap routine and at bedtime. For nap I usually sing you are my sunshine, and sometimes you'll sing "sunshine" and the word "gray." At night I sing to you Jesus loves you, and you will say "the Bible,"  and it is so terribly cute I just saying to you over hoping you will do it again. At 27 months now, you are picking up so many words every day and you are saying sentences. Your favorite thing the last couple days is to say "I sweep da by!" Which means "I sweep the fly. "And you also say it about crickets because I am always sweeping the crickets out of the garage. You call crickets "chit chits!" It's so cute. We cannot even explain the amount of cuteness that is going on. I pretty much die all day long. You also talk about your "Broncos shirt. "And you are good at putting your shoes on. You've been very good at spotting things outside the car now like buses and trucks. Today you loved pouring your letter puzzle pieces into cups and pouring them back and forth. You also are very cute in saying "my daddy is at wert (work)!" 

25 1/2 months

Oh Leonie, we just can't get over how cute you are. Every day she seems to just get cuter and cuter. Kevin always comments on how stinking cute she is. She is just the cutest little girl in the whole wide world. Right now at 25 months almost 26 months all, she has some super cute and hilarious-"isms." Probably one of my favorite is that for several months now you use the word please or "peez" in stead of the word yes. In fact, she has never said the word yes that I know of. And lately she answers "uh-peez." Putting the "uh" in front of the peez. It is so funny and she says it different ways. Sometimes it's really fast and in a monotone voice and sometimes it's very slow and cute. She hasn't done it lately, but when I would put her down for her nap or for bed time, while I was holding her and rubbing her back I would tell her I love her, over and over, and after each time she would reply "peez." So stinking cute. Pretty much every day right now she says a new word. Right now she is often saying "mommy's running shoes" or "daddy's work shoes." When she says work, she calls it "wert." And she says "daddy at wert." It's so cute because I always explain to her that daddy is at work so that mommy can be home with her all day. She is now really understanding that or at least telling me that he is at work. She also tells me "mommy at home wit meeee?" Another cute thing she is saying a lot right now is "watch this. " she will do any random thing from running across the room to jumping off something small or falling on her butt on the bed or jumping in her crib. It is so cute and she loves to ask us to watch her. She is much more into the iPhone and playing with it lately mostly watching the PBS kids app but she also likes to mess around with all of the apps and look at the pictures and watch videos that I did over and over. Especially the ones singing happy birthday to anybody especially her birthday. She is super affectionate, and often will rub your back and kiss you many times or wrap her arms around your leg. It is cute to see her interact with her baby doll, she swaddles the baby and puts her down for nap, and she pretends to nurse her sometimes and the other day I caught her putting the pumping cones on her tummy! She seems to enjoy her baby brother but definitely gets up in his face a lot. Right now I think she is cutting her two year molars. She has been cranky off and on for several days and had a runny nose yesterday. She is also very into saying "me! " she can be quite independent and now always wants to do most things on her own. She insists usually on climbing into her own car seat, and always wants to click the buckle. It takes forever to get her in the car and sometimes even out of the car because she wants to climb down by herself. She is very obsessed with baby Greta right now too. She will often just ask "baby Gretta at home? " when we ask her at night who she wants to pray for she always always says baby Greta first, at least right now! It's so sweet.
